The Process Explorer is a window into the InfoPlus.21 real-time database.
It is used to view real-time and/or historical data stored in InfoPlus.21 database present
on the network. Process Explorer enables concurrent views of data from multiple InfoPlus.21 databases.
Process
Explorer organizes and presents information about a process/tool in a
meaningful and usable form. Process Explorer data display features enable
engineers and managers to improve the process performance by making informed
decisions quickly and accurately.
The
Process Explorer runs on client workstations in the office providing simultaneous
access to data from multiple tools and sensors stored in multiple databases.
Features:
Variety of industry-standard trends
Time-based trends of real-time and historical data
Easy zoom into a graphically specified area
Time axis with highly flexible scaling (from milliseconds to one year)
Data views from multiple tools on one chart
Data views from multiple databases on one chart
Multiple trend windows in one application window
Multiple "scooters" or slidewires for trend analysis
Remote access to database from Excel directly using ActiveX controls
Multiple trends
windows provide combined of data display.
Easy to use "time slider" like a common scroll bar, lets you select the
portion of history you want to view AND easily adjust the amount of time
displayed without going into file system level search.
Advanced Tag (SVID) Browser
The
Advanced Tag Browser lets you search for a list of tool variables for
a specific tag using any field in the database. It features a "favorites"
list to make repeat tasks easier and a search mechanism for finding tag
names. A subset of tags can then be dragged and dropped into the trends
window.
Excel Add-ins
The optional Excel Add-Ins leverage ActiveX technology to get the data
from the real-time and historical database into
Excel spreadsheets. Requests
for process data, including raw values, and averages, are made using a
simple dialog box. The data is retrieved directly into spreadsheet cells,
making reports and ad-hoc calculations a snap.
